Renaming products
Is there a way to rename a product after the product has already been taken out of the mixer?

No atm. You could delete or rename this in the game files but to do it ingame would be helpful for many of us.
Currently having this discussion in another topic, I'll post the link here to save time. https://steamcommunity.com/app/3164500/discussions/1/599650352796575928/

C:\Users\"your name here"\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves\

open the folder marked - 76561197961091710 a bunch of random numbers

open the folder corresponding to your save file location for instance, i have:
SaveGame_1
SaveGame_2
SaveGame_3

open the correct file, for me my current gameplay session is SaveGame_2

The number is the location on the save file listing when loading a game, the top position is 1, below it is 2 etc

Then open folder Products

Then open folder CreatedProducts

open the file that your product is currently named and change the name, for instance:

"Name": "Big Peen",
"ID": "bigpeen",

to your new name aka

"Name": "Downtown Dippers",
"ID": "downtowndippers",

Save this file, then rename the actual file to the ID name, in this case 'downtowndippers'

Nice! That's extra helpful. Thanks!
that is correct, though i read if you have issues with it, change the id back to what it was. im guessing you can just change the name and not the id, and it still work

I've found the folder containing the created products, though not all products I've created show up here? Sadly the one I wanted to rename is one of those that don't show up...

I think the ones that don't show up are those that I've created using other created products. Like: granddaddy purple with banana and paracetamol, for example.
Is there a way to change those names?

If it's important enough to you, do it when you mix it.

I did... I made a typo. It's not the end of the world, but I had assumed (wrongly) that there would be an "easy fix"

Little rude- Mixing an already made product to make something better- I can't pre-name something before I know what I want to mix with it.

Also a bit miffed renaming in general isn't an option after the initial mixing.
It would be very helpful to keep track of Recipes if I could rename, say, "White Grool" to "Add Gas" so I can easily follow the recipe I've made.
ADHD kicks in and I start trimming the plants, putting buds up to dry, organising the shelves, packing the products, replanting and watering- by which time I've forgotten what the next product was I needed to add.
Definitely worth adding it to suggestions.
There is a mod for this, no need to do the notepad dance.
