Is there an End Game yet?
I'm no hater. I've been having fun. I'm just wondering if all you do is earn money? Then you get to the point where you can make the most money, then what do you do? This isn't like My Summer Car where you can try to win a Rally race with all that you have earned and built up. Is there any function that my drug empire can be used for?

no, it is early access.

i am not sure how much official this trello board is, but you may check some roadmap cards there https://trello.com/b/VQQpru3F/schedule-i-roadmap

it looks like a lot work goes into NPCs - bribery, cartels etc

so defense from other NPCs is likely going to be that end game.

I wouldn't give that board to much attention, at least if you want to stay up to date. Its not updated frequently (you can see by the stuff he already implemented but are still listed as "in progress" from start of april.
i wonder what you want to turn your empire into. Like making money is pretty much the sole purpose of a drug empire, so it's hard to create a goal that doesn't feel artificial.

A lot of games that have empire building have other things on the side that use money. Like, the X series of space games that EGO Soft makes. It does a lot to have just any other system that let's you dump money into it. Sure, gang warfare could be one way to have money get funneled into something. The idea is that you build up one part of the game in parallel to the other part. Get territory, empire build, get more territory, then get more means to make money, ect... It can be an effective gameplay loop to do things that way.

You could buy boatloads of gold at blue balls and sell it at a gain in the pawnshop but that just gets boring after a lil bit (and you need to wait for money laundering)

If you want an actual end game to the story and the game itself then you are just gonna have to wait until the it is out of early access, and unfortunately for you that can be awhile either a couple of month or a few months or years like some games take to get out early access or if they do.
