Customers only order the same thing
In my game my customers only order the same 2 or 3 items. Everything is priced fairly and on sale. Is this a bug with other's games? If so, what was your solution? thanks in advance! :seikowink:

Every customer has a preference for drug types that ranges between -1 to 1... some of them prefer Weed, others meth, etc. They also have mix trait preferences. If you are only selling one type of weed, one type of meth, and one type of coke... and they prefer meth... they are only ever going to order that one type of meth.

Try lowering the prices on your meth. The rule of thumb is you should aim to sell the product for about 50% more than the recommended price. So if the game says it recommends selling for $60.... list it for $90 at most.

each customer has their own preference, if you're trying to sell off other substances you can select that in the counter offer menu by clicking the selected substance. they'll also try to spend about the same amount daily but you can increase this via the same menu. Try to put your low spenders on dealers and keep the one's who will spend $1.3-1.6k daily on your own orders to maximize profits.

their traits only apply to the initial customer thing unfortunately. the cheapest thing is what they will order after being so.

the price is lower so they'll go for that, remove it from your products

remember they're addicted
Some people talk out their ass very confidently about these sort of things, but I think it's mostly speculation. At the very least, customers definitely don't default to the cheapest option exclusively, as is easily confirmed by the fact that they're even buying more than one product to begin with. Experiment with new mixes on the menu until they start ordering something new. Sometimes it can take a few days for something new to start getting orders, then it'll suddenly explode and become the only thing anyone orders. I'm not even sure if de facto customer preferences are particularly consistent tbh.

I just make 120 of one thing, and only sell that. Then make 120 of something else, on and on. Makes it easy to streamline growing/employee work
Stop giving them options and start pushing the highly addictive and higher priced options.

This is a game about making and selling drugs. You're not the good guy.
