PvP mode eventually?

so far enjoying the game alot, any chance in the future do you think this will have a "every player can own their own business" option? i think that would be cool. building and the town can be expanded to allow 4 players to have a chance at all the tier buildings and such.. and eventually gang wars and hiring gang members and sellers and such. i just think that as an option would be so neat and fitting for this game

I think it would be really cool if there was a dedicated option / server for this kind of stuff. PVP gang warfare and fighting over customers could be interesting

Pretty sure the community has enough Dbags already from what I've seen of the Forum.

Dev shouldn't bother, anyone requesting PVP for this game will forget it exists within a week and will be posting on another game's forum about it instead

im a big fan of tycoon games, and theres only one game ive had where there is a seperate company option (mad games tycoon 2).. and i loved that. this game is also very fitting for that option, allowing friends to playfully challenge eachother to be the top dealer running the streets. its not to be a dbag or grief others, but to simply have the option of a challenge. id rather face my friend than the AI in some sort of company sell off. clearly the letters "PVP" hurt your feelings so maybe next time try not to be so sensitive when writing a reply on somthing you clearly dont like the idea of. "hyperactive entitled children" clearly theres a child amidst but its not on my end. LOL.

Or, we could also make a PvE situation but it's PvP.

Like, the host could act as the mob controlling the city, and joiners can be on the side of Uncle Nelson's nephew's faction. Then 2 sides tug it out.

I would very much love a way to play competitively with friends.
I have been looking for mods to do certain things just to facilitate this.

I dig it. You could each divvy up what properties you use by value at the start, then everything is unlocked and it's up to everyone to try to court customers. Then, naturally, it's up to everyone's word of honor to not immediately start blasting whenever they run into one another.

In general the game as early access sure is still developing it's roots, that said a pvp aspect where players can fight each other by product, customers, size or pure violence or sabotage would add layers of replayability.

No no. We have been told pretty clearly that if we want something like that, we have to go play a different game. We should not want these kind of things. after all, there are games that already have drug selling and pvp, so just go play those and shut up. You are not allowed to desire those features for this game.

so i understand why some people react negatively to asking for pvp, ive seen a few steam discussions where the game is literally built in a way for straight cooperation and people suggest modes to go against eachother which wouldnt seem realistic considering how the game is played... for instance ive seen a suggestion for repo to go against eachother but that clearly wouldnt make sense. (however i myself would like a split money option but thats not really pvp, thats just better balance of funds between everyone).. either way my point is, this game isnt repo. this is a first person drug selling tycoon game. its already good with the fact its multiplayer for sure, considering most tycoon games dont usually do that, however with the systems that are in the game, yknow the main part, earning rep and growing a drug enterprise, PVP isnt some outlandish idea? what is wrong with the idea of 2-4 friends challenging eachother in seeing who can make/sell the best strain? i dont see an issue with that. neither should anyone to be fair, and anyway this would be a toggle so it wouldnt really affect anyone who doesnt want it.

i see in the comments: if u wanna grief play pubg..???? go play gta instead??? first off this game is fundamentally very different, and the guy who said "if u want pvp play somthing different" yeah but the issue is, theres not really a drug selling tycoon game that has pvp. (atleast not any good ones since ive never heard of one) there is nothing wrong with having a PVP tycoon game... its not a Cooperative extraction game. this is just a suggestion and i hope the devs consider it in the future. sounds like itd be fun after they update a bit.
