Lags | FPS stutters - Windows 11 problem?
I played the games multiple days without any problems, without lags or crashes as long I was on windows 10. Today I finally switched to windows 11 (24h2) and suddenly Schedule I does have really annoying fps stutters every second.

I tried to update gpu drivers, reduce the resolution, cap fps, turn v-sync off and removed all the trash in my save file but still I have these annoying stuttes.

So it must be win 11,right? I shouldn't have performance issues anyway because I'm playing on a RTX4090 and i5-13600KF.

Anyone had the same problem and already found a fix for that?

It started right around the same time for me as well, I was playing and the game started to stutter and then the frame rate dropped to 30, I've updated the drivers, restarted the computer, checked everything I can think of, it just started while I was playing restarting and then rebooting the system doesn't seem to help.

OK all of you are going to think that I am getting High on my own supply but I read a post where someone was having trouble with their Botanists. I went over o my grow house and checked the grow room and there was a large stack of Leaves on one of the pots that my cleaning guy wasn't getting. I cleaned them up, there were 47 of them, the more I got rid of the better the stutter and the frame rate was, I ended up moving all the grow pots out of the room (Side note, the pots wouldn't stack, I had to walk them out one at a time) by the time I had all the trash out and the pots back, the game was running fine. I will be setting up the automation again at my new place (The Barn) now. I will post if the problem comes back.

I am going to assume its a distance render issue
I renovated my warehouse and barn today doubling my farms and mixes
every time I get too close to those 2 property I have this weird stutter; I do not know if I can call it a stutter, it's more of a hiccup.

edit: As of writing this, for no odd reason my game stabilized itself with me just stanning around. I have no botanist in my warehouse(docks), I've heard botanist that does nothing staggers FPS, I have not come across to this issue, yet.

edit2: weird my stutter is gone, whilst I was replying to this thread originally, I started getting the bad stutters. me watching YT and doing nothing fixed itself; for both properties. Now I do not have any idea what's causing this.

For some reason if you sit around till 4am then sleep, the stutter goes away for the session.

First of all thanks for the comments guys! I found a fix for me and surprisingly it wasn't Windows 11 problem nor my PC in generell. It indeed was the botanists for me like @jbowman said. I've read about it on Reddit and tried if that was the problem. My botanists at the barn simply ran out of space. All the large storage were full and they all stopped working. As soon I cleaned up all the space the stutter instantly went away. I heard some people have the problem because their botanists are stuck in some weird places because they placed their pots in a bad position.

So if you run into the same issue I recommend to try if those stutters are only on Schedule I or also on other games. I should've done that too at the start.
