Console commands ruin the game

Despite that this is a game about exploiting drug addicts, there's this new idea called self control... exercise that and console commands existing ceases to be an issue.

Honestly? I didn't even realize there were Console Commands until about 15 hrs in. I think there's also a simple off switch for them if it really bothers you?

I made a new save and did this. Put the money in my account and bought all the properties. Immediately lost interest in the game afterwards. Made a new save over it and haven't been able to get back into it. I play for about 15 minutes at a time and just log out from time to time. Game is great if you take it at your own pace.

You must be too young to remember a time when developers purposely added cheat codes to their games..

Have only used them to cleartrash in my main save and on my second play through i've used it to launder a little cash (subtracting cash and adding balance) when i'd have had to wait days otherwise.

I also sometimes TP between my different production facilities in my second play through - not so much to move about the map but to do admin about the place.

Cheats used to be in every game. It wasn't until "achievements" entered the picture that cheats began to disappear.
If cheats remove your fun simply.... don't use them. It's that simple

For many of us- it's a fun way to expand the game once you're done.

This is your problem, not ours, don't take our replay-ability away from us.

I've only ever used cleartrash...,just because the ability to cheat exists, doesn't mean that you need to use it.

On a side note, can we go back to the fork in the road people. There must be one where we took a wrong turn. We ended up with all this really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happening.

Compulsive use of console commands to the point it ruins their own fun. Maybe... I dunno... "not use them" is the fork they're talking about.

This thread is literally a statement of "I have no self-control"
