You can sell manually for the same amount regardless of the product, but weed is very cost efficient and require very little setup.
It's more easy to buy some chem to get the +1 quality than drying. Take too much time, your botanist will idle too much. Get 5 botanist works on OG kush +1 quality, 3 cleaner and 2 handler and that's basically enough to sell on every area trough dealer (you might want slightly more product by the very late game if you manually sell on top of that).
You can fit that in the barn, use the sweatshop for some advanced product and other fun stuff if you want to sell high product to fill the customer bar (addiction or whatever it's called).
You can try to use later the dock for mixing but it's such a pain to resupply you are better mixing only high end product like coca (or maybe meth if you really want), and chemist are really slow at producing so you might end up doing quite a lot of stuff manually here.
It's slightly "advanced" to set up but what I run is
Farm - 8 herbalists (8 pots each coca) 1 cleaner (if you're a command bro you could replace the cleaner with more herbalist). the cleaner kind of sucks anyway and they always litter just slightly outside his area.
Docks - 4 chemists (3?) handlers 1 cleaner. 4 chemists get 2 mixers, one cauldron and one oven (to avoid cauldron bug)
Bungalow 4 chemists 1 cleaner. (1 cauldron 1 oven again to avoid cauldron bug)
with that you get enough product to supply everyone in the game, an 8 stage mix for max profits per item (meaning every annoying mixing delivery is worth substantially more) Your handlers will move everything to mixers, and turn everything into bricks (you can unpack when you need more for yourself).
Your job is -> Restock farm, pick up uncooked product from farm, go to bungalow, fill cauldrons with leaves, take cocaine from shelves, go to docks, drop the rest of leaves in cauldron, restock mixes, and go do your deals for the night.
It sounds like a lot but it takes one trip around the map in a van, and if you just order 2 vans each morning/night of mix (each van will fit 80 of 4 mixes or 160 of two. times 4 vans that's 160 of each and no driving for you, you get incredibly efficient at doing this)
If there was no cauldron bug, I would put all the cauldrons at bungalow but it really wouldn't effect production that much. The mixer chemists have more than enough time for all of it.
If you really want to load up on product, you can have the 4 chemists do 1 oven/lab each for meth, but you will be overrun with product almost instantly and meth is worse WAY less mixed.
*** one thing I will say is at some point when I took Jeff the skateboard guy as a customer, he would buy 5k worth of my meth product when he ran up to me on the street in one go, and wouldn't do the same for cocaine, but it only lasted a few days and I haven't been able to replicate the results. not that I've tried that hard.
For the Barn right now I'm using it entirely just for automating a 7 step mix. But before that I had entirely dedicated to producing Coke. With 5 botantists, four of them were split with a 5 pot, 3 rack workload and one botanist entirely dedicated to just drying racks. I know Heavenly Coke is overkill but I have standards. 1 chemist running 2 cauldrons and 2 ovens.1 handler moving things around and bricking up. and a cleaner.
