This game is 100% getting banned in Australia
If they try to move this game off steam to console it’s 100% going to be refused classification for having real world drugs and incentives for drug use.

Is GTA5 banned in Australia?
Australia allows drugs etc. in game, it just needs to be classified correctly - this would typically be R 18+. And there are no incentives to drug use apart from sales, so not sure how you'd get 'incentives/rewards' to stick, which is usually the sticking point.

Note that DDS 1 and 2 can be bought on Steam in Australia with no issues.

I mean they can arrest people for making jokes on the internet there so is anyone surprised with this to begin with?

Who cares. All the console warriors don’t want their precious exclusives on steam, so why should the opposite happen?

Hmm there’s incentive to sell it I’m sure they’ll find a way to refuse it based on that alone

I know in UK it's happening constantly but I heard that Australia is similar in that regard.

Show literally any proof of someone getting arrested for making a game about drugs. or joking about them on the internet. I'll wait.

It doesn't happen here and it doesn't happen in the UK either. You need to read better sources for your news.

I mean I literally went on YouTube searched UK social media arrest and found bunch of videos in a second about it. Maybe it's not happening in Australia idk for certain but as I said I heard few times somewhere that they are similar to UK in that regard.

In the past 5 years the only game banned in Australia were because of sexual violence or sex with people that appear underage.
I don't think Australia really care anymore about drugs in video games.
Australia is full blown nanny country so yes it might very well be, even though the developer is Australian and there are lots of sensible people in Australia when you leave the big cities.

And I notice that none of this is 'showing any proof'. Its you going, "take my word for it bro! I heard from my grandmas cousins hairdresser!"
