Chemist will not use the Oven after cooking meth

My Chemist makes the meth, goes to the oven, places the liquid meth and then walks away... I'm pretty sure they're supposed to actually use the oven too.
I have assigned a shelf for the finished product, so I don't know what's going on.

Assign the oven as a working station for your chemist.

Else, it would be because the oven output that can buffer 20 items max is full. But that does not seem to be the case for you.

Seems you need the respective job assigned to processing equipment as well. As in, you need a chemist assigned to an oven to hit the start button or a botanist assigned to a drying rack to actually hang up the buds deposited into it. I missed that initial part of my automation attempts as well because it didnt seem like id need an extra worker just to hit buttons, but you do.

Chemists need to be assigned to the stations, as well as if you want them to near fully be automated then you must assign the outputs of the liquids to the ovens and then ovens to the shelves.
I believe the only reason(s) they'll stop working is lack of pay, lack of space in a station/shelf, or due to it being 4am. Or if they're bugged. Which the loading screen says to give them a punch if they're acting goofy, I think

Huh... that is odd. I could've sworn I did already assign them the oven. But after I just checked after all of these helpful responses... I didn't? Weird. Just did and now they're working.
