Which order do you unlock buildings in ?

Basically Money Laundering is what keeps you from progressing to rapidly around Hustler 3, you'll be making 20-30k a day from meth at that point. It's always a good idea to have all 4 businesses unlocked before you reach Hustler 3 if possible.

I do Laundrymat first (i still have 10k a week which is enough in the first couple of weeks) , 2. Barn, 3. Post Office , 4. Car Wash, 5. Tacos, 6. Docks and the rest of the buildings after that, i tend to save money for the bigger buildings since they have more worker limits (very important for automating mixes).

I've been able to Automate 9 substance mixes along with meth production in Docks with 7 chemists and 3 handlers where the mix is worth around 350 (the calculator is not listing the correct price)

Sweatshop, post office, docks. nothing else since

My first game I did sweatshop, bungalow, laundromat, car wash, docks, then post office and ticklers.

This game I did sweatshop, laundromat, post office, barn.

The barn is meh. I was correct in my first game to assume that it being so far out of the way would be annoying, and the dirt road leading up to it makes it even moreso since my main transpo is skateboard.

I'm in the bagman tier of levels right now but I am certainly not pulling in 30k a day, more like 10-12k if both I and my three dealers are in full force, but then I have always been a tourist to this production/automation/distribution genre of game. I just bought in to understand the hype.
