low fps help?
pc specs:
rtx 3060
ryzen 7 3800x

ive tried lowering graphics, turning off vsync and this game does not want to run at over 50 fps at all... task manager says both gpu and cpu are both at 30% average while the game is running.

anyone got any tips for improving performance of the game as i really want to play schedule 1 but the fps is irritating me.

Mod your game with MelonLoader on alternative beta branch and add Advanced Graphics mod (can be found on nexusmods)

Disable shadows, play a little with render distance and hopefully that'll help. It will still lag occassionally but you will at least be able to play it (somewhat) smoothly.

Im getting average of 75 on a 4070ti on high settings. It might just be all you can get out of your system. Or the slider is set to 50 fps?

it could very well be my setup but on the off chance it is the game i wont complain because theyre a solo indie dev which cant be easy (but theyve made a damn good game :D)

try the command "cleartrash" on the console. (i've never done it because i'm worried it would disable achievements)

tweaking the render distance seems to have helped it alot. thanks!
im also having the same problem.. not sure how to fix it
It could be a no-brainer, and something you've most likely already tried, but I found lowering the resolution as low as possible helped me, the game looks no different but runs a lot smoother.

I think the game has very little parallel threading so it will only take a small % of multicore processors and leave the GPU waiting forever to deliver a frame. In that scenario both the CPU and GPU will look underutilised.
