Botanist disappeared
I set up my coca production in all places (Bungalow, Barn and Warehouse) all seemed fine, but suddenly one of my Botanists just dissappeared. I checked and he is still linked to the waterpots i put him up to. But he is nowhere to be found and the pot remain untouched. Any suggestions?

you need to reinstall:steamthumbsup:
Idk, i just hired a new botanist and replaced the waterpods anew. But the other Botanist is still listed as hired and nowhere around. Guess my Barn will be haunted from now on :sacrificed:

I have the same issue in my Barn.
I am not even able to quit his job and recruit a new botanist.

I have 10/10 workers in my barn.
And without my botanist the production is not working.

Any tipps how to solve this issue/ bug?
You should be able to fire an employee and rehire them? I don't know
"Botanist disappeared"

Working as intended, you made him LEAF.

...sorry.

You can't fire the employee because you can't see the employee to interact with him/her. The only way to fix it at this point is to delete said employee's folder from your save game WHILE THE GAME IS RUNNING. Then, exit the game completely and restart it.

C:\Users\<USER>\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves\<STEAM_ID>\SaveGame_1\Properties\<PROPERTY>\Employees

Here you will see a folder with the missing person's name. Delete it. Save game and exit. Restart game. Employee is now gone and a new one can be hired.

You must delete the folder WHILE THE GAME IS RUNNING, or the Steam Cloud save will just overwrite your changes.

This happened to me at the barn yesterday. Took me a couple minutes to figure out what was going on after an entire day of no production.

He's sleeping with the fishes now. Should of kept his hands to himself.

I didn't feel like assigning every pot again and I found out you can also edit the position in the \<NPC Name>\NPC.json, I'm not sure what axis is the height (guess y) but I copied the x, y, z from another employee and added 1 to x coordinate and it worked.

I tried doing this, had 2 employees disappear at the barn. Went to the file and deleted both files for the 2 employees with the game running. after that i saved and exited the game. when i rebooted the game it just recreated the files in the folder and they were still assigned to things in the barn

I disagree with Adam's methodology. You can leave the game closed, disable steam cloud for schedule I, and edit the employees NPC.Json file in notepad to change their co-ordinates manually (I just copied over another barn workers coords, it's simple XYZ positioning). You can re-enable steam cloud after the next time you launch.

I finally got it to work but it was while the game was closed.

I did try changing their coordinates to the same ones as the employees that had not disappeared and that did not work for me however, but did get it figured out for now thanks! :)
