Selfish lazy people use scripts to exploit the calculator instead of using it manually - something it wasn't designed for.
And selfish lazy people don't stop and destroy the site for everyone.

Websites have a traffic limit. Only so many people can draw so much data from them per day. This is because server bandwidth is in fact not free. Technically its possible to do this to even great powerful evil websites like google. Usually its reserved for hobbyist websites, like S1 Calc, or ones that push a lot of data like imgur.
Thank god I only donated the minimum $2 for the extended calculator access. I would have been pissed if I had spent more and was locked out by some basement dwelling subhuman script kiddies.
People were talking about it in the website creator's guide comment section:

That's all the website shows now.
As of this post right now the website is up and working.
It's 4:36pm EST right now. Website is working fine. I bet you anything once a bunch of people get off work at ~5:00pm the website will start going down again every once in a while.

It's not just the script kiddies and Discord bots messing it up I realized. The website is also being overrun with over 100,000 players trying to use it at the same time, and it's been a small indie project on a small server until recently they started making changes.

I bet that's why it was pretty much permanently down all weekend. 200,000+ people trying to use it simultaneously. The more we rely on the calculator instead of learning mixing ourselves, the more overloaded it gets.
