Yeah, you see a lot of things on the Internet, and it turns out not all of them are true. Yes, they were looking into it to ensure there were no issues, that's just doing your due diligence as an IP holder. No, there are not currently plans for a lawsuit so far as anyone is aware. That might change at some point, but most of the points of similarity just come with making a game about dealing drugs, and have been part of the genre since the MS-DOS days with Dope Wars. Unless there's something more under the hood I'm not aware of, any suit would be unlikely to succeed outside of MAYBE simple and easily-changed things like the implementation of a curfew or the specific art design of the drop boxes.
Or to put it more simple: Why we don't investigate other people for similarities regarding breathing?
