How does beta branch work with existing saves?

Hi all, I'm having issues with employees disappearing items and money. I heard that this could possibly be fixed in the new beta (though it's not in the patch notes).

How does the beta work with existing saves? I understand the risk of new bugs, but will I have any issues moving to the beta now, playing my existing save, and then continuing to play the same game on the full release in a few days?

Or is switching between branches not recommended for the same save game?

I think it says on the beta version not to load your existing saves on it yet because it might corrupt them. It's only for testing new game saves until it's "officially released."

It might work, it might not. He doesn't guarantee it. It's your choice to try.
