Not receiving XP for Tasks?

So I've made tons of sales, have gone door to door to sell product. So what I typically do is wait til 4am to do all my mixing, baking of product, etc.

But when I sleep and go to the next day I only receive 20 xp?

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

I think it is a visual appearance glitch when you do all of that at 4AM. I think you actually level up but it doesn't show it on the slider

4am is technically the day after. Not the day of. Perhaps that has something to do with it.

did you save then leave game before sleeping? If you do that then it will show little to no XP but you get it dynamically throughout the day. The end of day xp is just a visual thing.

You saved before sleeping. Not sure if its a bug but saves erases XP. I you don't save and let the auto save happen in the morning you will get your full XP

the XP is not erased.. you simply do not see the visual animation at the end when you sleep. You actually get your XP as you do the activities throughout the day.

I know this because yesterday I bought the bungalow and then bought 2 MK II Mixers.. then when I slept at night it said I "unlocked the Mk II Mixer" which means I got the XP and already unlocked it throughout the day.

The end of day sleeping visual is just that a visual it has nothing to do with your actual xp gain.
