so i have to fire them then spend another boat load of money to move all of them to barn because of the 10 worker limit.

dang that sucks, unfortunately it may have been patched:/
yeah it doesn't work. I gotta do the same thing

Assigning workers from other properties was patched, it was a bug and the dev fixed it. Can no longer do this. Workers need a bed and work stations at the location you hire them at.

yeah not sure why it didn't work, worked out for me
It's been patched it seems. Can't no longer assign anyone to a bed at one of the Launderings Businesses. If you have a worker, with a bed assigned to a business. Don't move it! Or you won't be able to do it again. Just gives a "Wrong Property" prompt now.
Hyland Haulers a Currier services!

With the recent patch making each property fully independent, players are now forced to manually transfer product between locations, breaking the immersive empire management flow. A courier system like Hyland Haulers could automate this process, restoring strategic depth while adding realism and in-world charm. Please look in the Suggestions section for the full idea.

Im also not fond of having to manually order 1000's of materials every single day and unload them myself. cant even have my workers unload.

Why was this patched out, without putting in an official way to move the workers? It seems like having a way to be able to move them like this, even though it was a slight pain in the rear to do, was actually a positive gameplay element.

Unless this was causing some major bug, to patch this out without putting in a way to allow the player to just tell their worker to move to the other property was kind of lame.
How move worker? I don't want to lose Sarah, she's hot.

It was in fact a bug that's been fixed! Your best bet is to fire and then rehire them at the moment, the system will be smoothed out in the future and made easier.

People were using this bug to exploit in the game, it broke the game-play in a very big way and was patched to fix the issue. In fact the bug was originally reported to Tyler by a Youtuber who made a video based around the bug to min-max profits, it broke the game-play loop entirely. We just have to patient for more updates that will fix this and make a better system.

you can move their bed to the barn and put their pay in the suitcase. only issue is that after you put their bed at the barn, you have to walk all the way to bungalow and use the clipboard to assign bed then walk all the way back to the barn and assign their bed without removing the clipboard from your hand. this worked for me and they teleport there automatically after assigning station(s) when there is work to do
I attempted this an may have been patched as it says wrong property. had to fire and re hire

I changed a couple names in the files (to walter white, and jesse pinkman.. because, of course I did.. lol)
When i loaded the game back in, the game recreated the files of the 2 previous employees, AND let me keep the two new ones... which i ended up deleting the previous from the game folder.. and they work just fine..
my point it, MAYBE, you could move the files from the bungalow property folder to the barn folder.. haven't tried it, it might work...
