Stuttering. Not sure why or how

Ive been just fine until about last night. I've been in the barn and decorating. I have cleaners, no trash. I do have an automated setup with 6 employees. The game randomly started stuttering last night and ive been playing for 90hrs and never seen it. Not sure why or what caused it. Any help?

This worked for me as well, funny enough though only started happening today as before today I use to leave them empty to catch up on mixing and wouldn’t have an issue

Whenever a employee tries to move something to a storage (or wherever they are assigned to move things by you) and it is full the game seems to stutter, basically there becomes a clog in the workers route and that stutters is like a game running a check whenever its going to be empty so that they can move it.

Can someone else test this, basically create a clog in their route, see if you get stutters, then clear it and see if it goes away.

I think I can confirm this, things smooth out a lot at curfew which I am pretty sure workers pause tasking then right?

Imma test this and see if it happens at my barn. granted I fired Bungalows...which I really didnt want to but if the Designated Storage is the issue....I could make adjustments to fix it...

Restocked my bot with seeds and fixed the stuttering. Thanks bro!

I have had a botanist and he HAD seeds and it still stuttered. I havent had a single stutter without the botanist. I will be trying the full designated storage though.

I have 4 people at the barn. No Stutter. I bought a Botanist and a Cleaner. FULL shelf of seeds. Started stuttering. Fired both. No Stutter. Not sure if its too many people, I had 5 at the Bungalow (1, Botanist, 1 Cleaner, 2, Handler, 1 Chemist) I never saw stuttering until I got to the barn and at first I had 3 people (2 Chemist and 1 Handler). The moment I bought a Botanist, Cleaner and another handler (had 6 people) I saw stuttering. Removed Bungalow Employees completely, Stuttering drastically wasn't noticeable. I remove the Botanist from Barn, Stutters gone (he had seeds on the shelf). This the best I got. I might try just hiring 10 employees but no botanists and see what happens.

I was getting a stutter about every second. I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT! This response made me think about how all my guys are sitting idle waiting for something to do, once I cleared space on a rack for them to do work, BOOM, the stutter instantly went away! Thank you! This stutter was driving me INSANE!

It's definitely some sort of work issue, that only occurs with botanists - it gets worse when I do weed at the bungalow AND my coca barn. If I stop work at one for the day it's better and both clears up the issue entirely. I don't have this issue at the docks where I'm not growing anything, just mixing and moving. When I have the issue and they go to sleep it's also better.

My seeds are all full, but they do move from the planters directly to the drying racks that fill up pretty quickly and can't be moved off to storage until complete. But also I can't think of a way to stop this.

If I move the plant to storage first and then the drying rack and the issue clears up, the issue is the drying rack - but also you need handlers for that and I don't have worker space, and if it doesn't the issue is the plant move to full storage. And if neither help the issue is the worker, and there's definitely no way around that.

I’ve tested all those theories and it just seems to be the botanist for me. Even when things are full for me it don’t stutter. Even now my botanist is standing still at a drying rack (it’s full) yet I think I stuck him in limbo when I moved his bed(while he was in route). Now he’s glitched and not moving (trying to complete a task, I don’t know what). It’s not stuttering at all. It could be growing something causes it because I have noticed it does it more growing something.

Hey not sure if you still need help but getting rid of the botanists is what worked for me. Hopefully they'll have a fix soon
