doubt it, most games kinda stick to their initial cap on players. in recent time look at lethal company, repo, deep rock galactic still. If you want more than is intended mod it, and its still 100% stable.

And tbh, there isnt enough to do to even justify having 8 people in 1 save.

I find that putting more that 6 chickens in my coop causes them to start fighting.
I can only imagine what would happen putting 8 players in one...

murky divers, sketchy's contract, the headliners R.E.P.O. have more then 4 players an are fun with more like nuclear nightmare. alot of fun. but it its what it is man i wish G.T.A. 5 was only 4 player lobbys and only 4 player mission for the online. someone should really mod that into g.t.a. 5


far as coops i agree but i don't wanna leave out any one from the friend group. so i guess modding it is then XD

Maybe in a couple years we can talk the dev into making a multiplayer server so people can have little gang wars with each other.
We can have that voitt guy come around and whine that its a 1:1 ripoff of GTAV. It'll be great!

I am not being troll btw. I do think 4v4 gang wars or something similar would be cool. like take your drugs "out of town" aka multiplayer server, and try to sell your stock, rob others of their stock, steal customers, ambush sales, get competition arrested!
I think the game has a lot of future potential.

There is a mod that theoretically lets you play with up to 20 players. It is probably a buggy nightmare considering the state of the main game, but I have not tried it yet so I don't know for sure.

I have it's really buggy npc don't act right. Like cop won't bother people. An selling guys never show up at stores. It was easy you need melon loader an that mod for 20 player and play on beta alternative.
