this game is kkinda ruining itself for me, if i so much as look down to take a drink im arrested and lost hours of progress that generally isnt worth redoing again and again.

use to be able to hide realistically, now im getting tased off roofs, arrested in dumpsters, chased off the map and arrested through walls after being noticed.

gonna give it another go but losing the progress after 4 hours of producing is insanely consequential.

I agree when your in a bush a half block away the police should not be able to see you if your Flashlight is off. Its annoying that They can See for almost a half a block.

When you leave a property, tap the intercom. Problem solved. Reload game if things go wrong, whatever "going wrong" means to you.

Cops are way too easy to deal with, tbh. You can avoid them easily, escape them easily, and you can kill them easily.

The curfew gets annoying. I've been put into an "under arrest" chase right outside my Bungalow's front door because I was throwing trash into the dumpster. Curfew breaks immersion too (I know it's a cartoony game but still) because as I run around, other people from the neighborhood are just walking around unaffected. At least have the rest of the NPCs go indoors all night if there's a curfew. Or be running from the cops.

yes im aware they're easy to bypass and avoid but those times where your just scooting through the game and get caught up, you cannot escape in the end usually.

each night i have to 100% avoid them or im running around for 10-20 minutes trying to hide and never works lol.

the best method i found was throwing yourself off grid in the ocean repeatedly to keep the cool down active.

am i the only one who thinks the cops do literally nothing? they only search me if i allow it at checkpoints otherwise i just go around them. and during nights they never catch me seems kinda easy for me personally

They really are pretty easy to evade. Just now, I simply did a speed walk around the pizzeria to evade a roving patrol of 2. They walked right past my deal and I met her on the other side. Completed said deal right behind the police while they were still in my sight.

i agree with the op too.
i have a had a few instances where i have decided to hide in spots they normally cant get to so you should be safe.
just for them to suddenly start arresting me through a wall or the ground if hiding under a bridge.
i even had one instance of running the entire map away to jump in a dumpster no cops in sight but at the last second be dragged out and arrested.

So yes they are easy to deal with i have evaded them more than had issues.
But they do seem to be inhumane when it comes getting that revenue raising up.

As much as the cops seem easy, they do bs sometimes in weird situations, especially with the wall stuff like when I rush down to the illegal warehouse for some supplies.

But at the same time playing for hours on end without a single save, and then you risk it during curfew? That's kinda on you, especially since you worded it like its happened a few times yet you still arent saving your game.

Until its fixed you can either get a cheap car and park it in-front of the police station which will stop the patrols (roadblocks still spawn during the day, and the occasional cop car) Or if you dont like to cheese the game you can wait until 4AM to do your late night stuff, no more patrols spawn, only the 2 stationary guys at the intersection next to the taco place.
