Question - Is it worth it to keep getting the cheaper kinds of seeds?

Can't seem to find a guide about this. I'm past Hoodlum IV, and well into growing and selling and mixing Granddaddy Purple. Is it worth it to get the cheaper kinds of seeds, grow them, and then discover their mixes too? Idc about cluttering my UI with strains I won't use

Atm, not really?
The different starting effects can make some recruitment recipes easier but otherwise currently you can just stick to whichever you prefer.

So people generally stick to one type of seed?
In that case it looks like I can mix to experiment, then save those strains in storage as future free samples to get people hooked

Pretty much. My first character I was trying them all, but second and third i stick to og until green crack is available and stick to that.

OG Kush currently has the best known combination.

I just stuck with Sour Diesel my whole playthrough. I can sell one jar at $450 per.

I have pretty much stopped weed production for now, between meth and coke its not really worth the extra time, item purchases, and mix ins and botanists to maintain. I keep some on hand for new customers though. But there IS a reason to dead drop the Grand daddy purple. once you get your supplier loyalty maxed out, you can have them deliver their products right to your worksites with loading bays. buy as much as you can, pay it off, repeat. Eventually he will offer to meet up for larger order, ignore that, keep dead dropping, once you max supplier loyalty meters, the get added as a delivery option, which is extremely helpful for psudo and coca seeds.

My first 3 dealers only sell granddaddy purp bricks, with the exception of brad whom also gets base meth jars.

The final 3 dealers get coca bricks, though I don't use leo anymore as all the remaining customers are high rollers, so I deal to them personally.

I keep an 8-mix coca strain for myself to deal on phone orders; I make about 51k/day.

Seeds really just change the base price; You can mix to increase the price, but mixing is very slow in the beginning and also can sell worse than base product depending on your level / reputation / customer addiction.

Not quite, OG Kush + cuke = Calming and Energizing effects, so it wouldn't be green crack. Same with Kush + Flu Medicine, it wouldn't be granddaddy purple.

But, if you want to make some kind of universal weed, the closest I got was Sour Diesel + Paracetamol + Mega Bean + Gasoline + Cuke. It gets you Calming, Refreshing, Energizing, Euphoric, and Cyclopean. Basically Kush+Diesel+Green Crack + euphoric/cyclopean. Adding 'sedating' to it changed it from a 4-mix recipe to a 13-mix recipe and I wasn't going to bother with that nonsense.
