Chemist "automate"

I been stuck for over 30 minutes trying to get these guys work are you seriously telling me i have to put ingredients into the chemistry station for them to get to work?

I thought they suppose to add the ingredients themselves and start mixing this is the only way i got them working something about this don't feel right.

Just want to point out this layout works.

use packers to load from shelves or keep the chemistry lab topped up your self
the chemistry station and the lab oven don't have a source pull
you can however daisy chain their outputs together chemistry -> lab oven

Dude thank you so much it finally works I was losing my mind on this I misunderstood how the handler works I was thinking it just package things while others will add own ingredients that matches with what they do.

chemists will move completed recipes from chem labs ovens and mixers themselves if you've got the destination set
you can even set the packing station itself as the end destination to cut down on shelf transfers

Set hauler routes from loading bay in the yard to the supply shelves then from the supply shelves to the chem stations the destinations from the chem stations should be set to the oven then the oven destination set to the packaging stations or supply shelf for packaging station then use routes from the haulers to move the product to more shelves if needed. Then just order a delivery with everything they need and they can get it from the loading bay while you are away.
