Start by placing the ingredients correctly in the stations yourself. After that, you should be good. Handlers can't replace 8 pseudo in a station with 10 acid or things like that.
I have 1 handler filling chemistry stations, all from a single rack holding all 3 ingredients, and it never breaks. Maybe if I'd let the rack and stations go empty it could break when restocking the rack, but I don't know. I never forgot to refill for long enough.
Good luck.
Yeah, less racks saves space but even more important for me, it uses 1 handler's route instead of 3. So 4 routes remaining for other stuff!
Yea I am doing it more for the game experience than a need for it, I just got rid of my weed setup to start on cocaine, my meth seems to be going ok for now
This works until your source storage rack runs out of a specific ingredient.
The optimal way to fix this would be for chemists to be able to be assigned a "Supplies" shelf, the same way Botanists can (I submitted this as a feature suggestion)
