they have every right to take down a project if it actually infringes, and I am not sure why Tyler should be held responsible for the unreasonable actions of some people who like his game.
dude first off stop with the DEA owns the phrase schedule 1 bc EVERY form of law enforcment does not just the DEA so right now your just making yourself out to be a uneducated Karen. people like you are whats wrong with the world today. everyone that disagrees with you is wrong? get your head out your butt. bottom line you are not involved nor are you a lawyer so leave these people alone with all your hateful talk we are here to enjoy a game. lastly if they basically copy a game and just change names then publish it as there work that is defined as plagiarism which cant be considered infringement. we have seen Disney do it how many times? so before you decide to go off on people how about you do your homework. apologies to the schedule 1 team for educating this male karen.
I haven't said it infringes, but it does use the Schedule I name in a video game context, pretty sure that's infringement. Copyright infringement isn't just about "Schedule I", it's also about context.
Could this fake game on PS store be confused by a customer for the actual Schedule I franchise ? Yes. Therefore there is probably infringement. :P
He does own the trademark in this context, yes.
He also probably checked if it's okay to use the term "Schedule I". :P
What exactly are you fighting for here ? What's your beef ?
No right now there's a big problem on PS with ppl making clones of Steam games claiming they're the offical game when they're not.
Take for example Supermarket Simulator atm there's a dozen clones some of which are almost exact copies from the Steam game & it doesn't help that Playway & they're subsidiaries themselves have made clones that aren't even the official console version. Heck even the TCG game has been cloned at least a dozen times plus there's other games that are still Early Access or just Demos here on Steam that ppl have already copied & ported to PS Store.
If you actually look at the link i posted to the PS store this clone copies a lot of stuff that u can see in the screenshots & the videos & it's set to launch on the 25th of this month. (the PublishMe Agency Limited has since deleted the screenshots & videos off the store page).
This company PublishMe Agency Limited has even cloned R.E.P.O & the devs have said there's no plans right now to bring the game to console.
The link i posted has since been deleted from Playstation store but they game has been reuploaded to the store under a different link. https://store.playstation.com/en-ca/concept/10015016
