botanist not planting seeds

"there is a pot ready for sowing, but I dont have any seeds for it. I don't get it. I already pointed the botanist to the supply shelf

Have you paid them?
Have you selected the seed on the pot?
Do they have fertilizer on the shelf?
Are they assigned to the pot?

Normally I get that error when I mix the seeds up for the shelf, and what I managed on the pot.

But Havok nailed it.

thanks for the tips. It seems my botanist's pathing got messed up and she got stuck in between my pots. Had to remove them so she could get out

Having the same issue, I keep restocking the supply shelf with the correct seeds. He walks in, puts them in his pocket and continues to stand outside. Anyone figured it out?

had this issue and for me I think it was because I was storing items in her inventory, so I think it was making the seeds disappear when she tried to grab and store them

I get this issue when setting 1 chemist to 2 labs and 2 ovens. They go fine for a while, come back, the are standing doing nothing. Punching them in the head does nothing, however if you save then quit the game , and re enter, it fixes for me everytime.
