schedule 1 stuck on body search (HELP)

Cant do anything early in the game when the police start the body search. how to i tab out of the guide menu.

I'm also stuck at this point. cant quit out of the tutorial for the body search

so this is an ultrawide screen monitor issue apparently. there is a continue button but you cant see it at bottom of the screen. solution: go into display setting and reduce interface scale to 80%

Same issue, no option to do anything after going to a different area. Tried setting interface scale to 80% on ultrawide monitor and didn't make a difference.

Had the same issue. My resolution is 5120x1440. I changed the Display Mode to Exclusive Fullscreen and set the Interface Scale to 70%. It made a world of difference.

Just as Skippy wrote - Scale down the UI have fixed most UI issues the game has on superwide (5120x1440). A few remain but its not breaking the game

How do i get into display settings when I can only see the center of the screen and I cant get past the continue game screen?

I had a very similar issue where I couldn't get past the body search; it would just repeat over and over, regardless of what I did. I also did not see the "continue" button as mentioned in this post, but that's because I hadn't even gotten that far.

ISSUE:
I didn't notice the body search warning on the screen, so I went directly to the motel and picked up the "stuff" for dear Uncle. Then I tried to run from the po-po because that's what you do, right? When I finally relented, I couldn't progress beyond the search.

FIX:
It seems this is a bug; you'll need to restart the game, and this time just let the body search happen right after you buy the bags of soil.
