You have weekly limits ($10,000). You need to go see Ray and buy a business or two in order to launder your money. When you launder money, it gets removed from your cash and is held at the business for 24 hours, after which, you will get a notification that the money has been laundered & it will be deposited into your bank account. The more expensive the business, the more money it can launder but they can all run simultaneously, so start small & work your way up.

Just know, the business does not generate any money. It is only to launder your money,.

I know this but to buy the business it has to come out my bank balance.
All my money is currently in cash so i can't buy the business and I can't deposit into the bank because of the 10k limit.

It's not a timelock, it's realistic. You deposit that much money a week without having a job and the police are going to notice. Drug Dealer Simulator does the same thing because it's one of the main ways drug dealers are caught IRL. The game is actually being extremely generous having the limit be $10,000 per week. IRL that limit is now $600 per YEAR in the US that you have to prove where the money came from due to the changes at the IRS.

I'm not sure but I don't think an ingame week is 7 days long either. I think it is 4 or 5 days.

I've had to enable console and just add $4,000 to my bank account and buy the launderette.
There's no way I'm waiting a few days for my limit to come down.

im not sure how you confused the "must file taxes on more than $600 earned per year" that Biden imposed (was previously $22,000 a year!!!) as "cannot DEPOSIT more than $600 a year", haha. Craziest thing I've read today for sure.
Most banks have a weekly withdrawal limit of 10 or 20 grand, deposits, not so much, you can deposit as much as you want, this is because banks have to insure the money you deposit and they cannot insure an infinite amount and let you withdraw it all the next day, that would be insane. Depositing more than 10 grand in a week without it coming from a legal institute, like... a corporate entity that writes you a paycheck, just looks really suspicious, makes the government question, "how are you obtaining that much cash EVERY week"? That is all there is to it.

So your solution was cheating. Why even play the game? Use the console to add $1,000,000. Buy everything. Done.

You need 4,000 to buy the Laundromat. It allows you to laundry another 2,000 per day sums up to 14,000 per week + 10,000 = 24,000. Later the post office for another 28.000 per week. How hard can it be?
