Yes I know... but the point of the game is to test the mixes and combine effects, that's what makes it different from other games... And it's a shame that in the mid-late game you have to miss this because it's a pain in the a$$ the stock orders and automation in general. Maybe playing with people you don't notice it so much because they all collaborate, but for 1 person it is too much.
I have managed to set up a 7 mixer display for cannabis in the 3rd house, and it is going well, with 5 employees it is almost automated, with the gas station is very close and restock is still possible. It takes a while to start up but once the first batches arrive at the 7th mixer it goes smoothly and you get production going. The only problem I see is the restock as I said, if there was the possibility of bringing more products at once even if you have to pay more, it would be solved for me, because it is very very limited, and it would be a big leap in quality of life.
The problem is that I want to make another display for Meth at the Barn, but it's not going to be possible or it's going to take too long, because it takes longer to get there and as I said, phone orders take time and are short in quantity of units.
And if I want to make trips I will need about 5 or 6 trips to the gas station with the veeper, which takes all night. And that's every day in the game...
Since when does a drug kingpin have to make absolutely every trip at night? What's the point of having money if you can't use it to send someone or bring a truck with everything you want?
I only ask for some improvement in the quality of life in that sense, if you could order more vans by phone at the same time, it would be enough....
We need a personnel manager to pay all the staff.
We need an accountant to launder all our money.
We need a distribution manager to deliver to all our dealers.
Like any business, as you scale up to pay people to manage departments.
Well, those things would be nice... but if they put that the delivery vans are infinite or much more (not only 2) or do not take almost 6 hours of game to arrive only for 160 Uds.... With that I would be satisfied, with that you could manage inventories a little better for larger quantities.
Yes Things like that are also ultra-necessary. And more vans to order more stock, or bigger trailers paying more...
Ave suggested that we add named racks for ingredients, so when deliveries turn up the automatically added and loading bay is cleared. This would also help keep the business fully auto.
You can only order 160 + 160 Uds. every 5 hours. If you want a setup of 9 mixers, it's nota enough at all...
You can automate an 8-step mix with one mixing station, 2 shelves, 1 chemist and 1 handler. The problem is automating moving the finished product to the packing station. I wish we could set some if-then checks.
You can order your deliveries from anywhere so if you plan well, they will be there when you need them and you won't have to wait for them for 5 hours. Also use the time at 4am.
Holding Shift speeds up restocking shelves quite a bit. If I pick up the items from the van in the right order, I can restock a supply shelf for the 8-step mix in less than 8 seconds. You could also have some back-up shelves stocked and when the first one empties, you just move the arrow in the handler's route to the new shelf.
Edit: Big quantities are nice but how much can your dealers move in a day? I'm not into running around all day selling stuff myself.
Yes, I have seen the guide for that 8 mixer setup with a couple of handlers, but it is for very small quantities. When you have all the dealers unlocked the quantities needed to give them is larger, otherwise they will constantly be telling you they ran out of supplies. Therefore it is necessary to make a large shelf of 160 units (in stacks of 20) at least of product per day, also because the employees are paid per day and the more product they make per day, the less it will cost, also with more quantities you do not have to be constantly monitoring the production and that they do not run out of raw material. For me, the ideal would be to be able to order infinite vans, or at least 4 or 5 more. Or bigger trailers. With that the production would be perfect and I wouldn't have to be constantly walking to the gas station.
