Change car camera controls?
I wanna be able to always move the camera when driving, not just when holding right click. Is there any way to change that?

No. It's much simpler to program the camera how it is, so it has been done the simple way, in order to save time. Perhaps now that Tyler has some money, he can make more quality of life fixes like this one.

What? The normal camera movement is literally programmed into the game, you just have to hold right click for it.

I could get into technical details like how third person cameras on larger objects can cause issues with meshing, camera angles, and other unintended consequences, like being able to interact with the inside of the warehouse doors during the day time. There's already an unintended exploit with the skateboard that allows you to open the central warehouse doors during the day. It's likely that you have to hold right click in order to stop an exploit like that one from happening.

Im a game dev myself and I can tell you with 100% certainty that that doesn't prevent any exploits. Its simply an "error" on the dev to not give you the option to change it.

And what games have you released? I'm a programmer, and have been for 25 years. I can say with certainty that this is either a premade asset, or it's been done this way as a placeholder because the camera doesn't behave well when unlocked.

I dont see why my released games matter at all. If the camera doesn't behave well when unlocked, or if there was any problem with it, it wouldn't even be an option to have it act like that with right click. Idk why you are arguing with me over this.

If you could name a game that you were involved with, I'd have a better idea of your level of understanding, and I'd be able to explain things better. I'm arguing with you over this because you're acting like someone that has no game dev or programming experience. And every time you say something like "it wouldn't even be an option to hold right click, if there were issues with the camera", you confirm my suspicions. Anyone who has REAL development experience would understand that simple things are not that simple, when you see how they interact with other systems the game needs in order to work properly.
