nope. Just the standard install.
i have the same problem don t know how to fix
Same issue just happened to me. No mods, but I did switch to the beta branch before losing it. Switching back to stable didn't fix the issue, sadly, and I think I corrupted my save in the process.

Hopefully there's a way to force-add them back in through the console.

FIXED THE ISSUE

If you have a debt to a supplier, simply paying it off will force them text you and fixes the issue.

If you're like me and didn't have a debt, here's how to manually put a $1 debt that you can pay off

(NOTE: you probably need to temporarily disable Steam Cloud to prevent that from overwriting your changes, so make sure to do that. You can re enable it and upload your new save once you get your texts back).

Go to this path in your save data location:

This is for windows, so if you're on Mac or Linux, make sure to change the path accordingly. Google is your friend. Replace the text in <> with whatever yours is. C:/users/<username>/AppData/LocalLow/TVGS/Schedule I/Saves/<SteamID>/SaveGame_<#>/NPC/

In this folder, you'll see all the NPCs you've currently met. I've only gotten to Meth in my playthrough, so I only know Albert Hoover and Shirley Watts.

Open the folder of the supplier, and then open NPC.json

On line 8, you'll see
"debt": 0.0,

Change this to
"debt": 1.0,

Do this for each supplier you are missing texts from.

Save and then restart your game. Go pay off the new $1 debt using the usual drop locationa, and they should text you saying they've received your payment. Save the game, and you should be good. They'll be added permanently back to your list.

so cheating is your "fix"? pay your debt
Is that cheating? When something goes wrong with the code, players choose to compensate by damaging their in-game assets (even if it's only $1), especially in a single player game. At best, this is a patch on the ♥♥♥♥-mountain code.
If you insist that this is cheating, then I wish you every new save will encounter this situation forever. Hopefully, you'll live up to your no-cheat instinct, stuck in an endless loop.

You seemed to miss the part where they said they had no debt, so they "cheated" to add some.
