Streamline mixing?
Early game just in the apartment ....I am spending 1-2 hours "Real life time" mixing everyday

Is there a way to massively cut down this time cause I have a life too lol:steamhappy:

Just wondering how other single players are handling this "slog"

I literally spent the entire day at the barn mixing. I agree.

There is an upgrade mixer you will get access to that makes that way less loathsome. One thing i did discover way later than id like to admit, is that you can pick up multiple items with the right click when using that first one.

two ways really, Upgraded mixer does full stacks at 1hr/stack in game time. or, you could automate it with workers once you have the reserves and access to do so. multiple mixers also help, while pricey at the outset, they pay themselves off quickly.

not really. once you get the v2 mixer its better but still time consuming especially if you are mixing a lot of ingredients. currently i run 4 mixers so i can do 80 at a time of any product and i set the ingredients i need on the machine while running to cut some time as well since i can just shift click the machine back on.

i also pretty much only am willing to mix meth and cocaine now later game since its just not worth if for weed. much better just pushing quantity over quality for weed early game and especially later when you unlock a brick press.
I dont have that mixer unlocked yet soon hopefully ......I hope bigger stacks get added either way there is no reason why it is 10 and im looking into a empty mixing pot when it starts lol
The whole point is to make you chop the tree with your hand, then make a wood axe and chop more wood to make a furnace to make iron ingots, then you make an iron axe to be able to chop more trees faster.
This is the most basic game progression. Make you grind away so getting better more automated systems is what makes you push on. This is the game, I don't know what else you want to be doing apart from the things in the game, this isn't a very deep or complex game, there isn't anything to do but set up production lines that you can eventually automate to some degree.
In saying that, this is really tedious, especially in the early game. I found the trick was to not go crazy on scale, the more you produce means more grindy work. Pull back until you can hire at least a chemist, that is the worst job.

Once you understand the game you basically reorder stuff and refill your stock nothing else. Everything "should" be automated.
Yeah just focus more on selling a lot of product instead of doing complex mixes at this stage. If you are inclined to mix, get at least four mixers so you can do batches and stick to three ingredients maximum. Once you get the barn or warehouse with chemists you can get fancy.

the upgraded mixer does 20 at a time which helps immensely. but the process takes 1 in game hr to complete, so complex mixes can take a full day of work
Or after learning the mix you just know the mix , and now can do it all at once?

needs something anyway I have 40 game hours and probably 20 of it was just mixing a 4 mix batch....

I would have just gone with cloning plant genetics.....But i get why he didnt do this"

I suppose .....kinda ruins the whole "max profit" part tho

Just keep it simple. Get a chemist. Get a Handler. Get a botanist. This will cost you 700 a day. Enough to automate 3 mix stations and 8 pots with the botanist. For 900 a day with a second handler you can fully automate it and get it packaged. Giving benji full jar stacks with basic kush will get you easily 2k++ each day. And now you snowball. No warehouse or barn needed to get rich quick without work. With the money just keep getting the laundering business and buy everything else with the endless money.

If u have the barn why mot just higher a chemist to mix for u?

Upgraded mixer will speed it up but the best thing you can do, once you unlock the Bungalow, is to get 4 beds. 1 for you, 1 for a chemist, 1 for a item mover (THEY SUCK AT PACKING STATIONS! havnt tried brick maker yet) and 1 for cleaner. That leaves you the hard job of planting and watering things every day as well as packaging and delivery.

You can get a couple mixing stations in the bungalow, I currently have 3 but my Chemist only works on 2 (3rd is for me trying to make focused samples for stupid people that like weird ass effects).

Using clipboard select the Chemist then assign a bed and however many stations you want (1-3 sadly). Then select the mixing stations and set a destination shelf for the product (this is whats limiting my mixing station usage at the Bungalow), make sure you place each mixing station a different destination shelf, otherwise you might get them mixing the same materials into the blend intended to be output, thus wasting materials. So Mixing station A goes to Shelf A, Station B to Shelf B so on in a chain for however many materials you want in the blend. Also you can set the Mixing Station to only mix if 10 or more mixer item there.

Next assign your Item Mover to Shelf A and move whatever mixer you place there to Station A, so on so forth. You also need your Item Mover assigned to the shelf that you place your harvested material on (weed/meth/cocaine). Again, these dudes are SLOW AS ♥♥♥♥ when it comes to packaging with baggies or jars so early on its a waste of money and space to have them doing the packaging.

The cleaner just needs 1 or 2 trash cans then placing a trashcan or assigning the worker to it, forget which, there is a circle around the trashcan which is the area the worker will clean around that trash can. So you place 1 can in the middle of your growers and another in the middle of your mixing stations.

Congratz, the game now gets more boring cause you are only planting, harvesting, running product to consumers (sometimes I dont even get an order in a day cause I got 3 dealers currently doing it even if they sometimes bug out and dont sell anything..) and packaging and resupplying the shelves with whatever mixing materials the chemist is using.

Once you get tired of planting and harvesting, get a Botanist. Assign the Botanist to a Supply Storage, its where you place whatever seed you want them planting and soil they use. And any fertilizer. You can then assign the PLANT POTS on the destination for the things grown in them. Either a storage or Drying Rack.

If you get tired of packing, get a dedicated packer for it, cause again, they take forever. Like I pack 5x20 weed, maybe more, in baggies in the time they do 1 stack.

Once you get tired of store running, just get deliveries.

Once you get the Barn, larger operations, more employees, more stuff to sit on shelves waiting for dealers to get low on product.
I dont know if you got to Cocaine yet but it massively cuts down on how much you have to mix. Clients buy at most 2 so you can easily mix a couple days worth in just one ingame day. At 750-900 a sale people can only really afford one. We use 4 mixers and go through a six step process.
