Nothing Saves

I'm not sure how to fix this issue. Whenever I start a world, I make progress. Save the game, exit the game, load the save and all of my cash is gone and anything placed is gone. The motel, Mrs. Ming's apartment, and the Bungalow all reset to how they were when first purchased by the player. So i can only play the game up to wherever I make it. Whenever Loading a save, all buildings reset and does my cash :/

are you any chance using any mods

if so which ones cause some mods practically delete save files either intended just to mess with people or bugs most likely bugs with mod

I'm not. I'm playing the game vanilla/stock

Is could saving an option in this game? Is it enabled? If so, have you tried disabling cloud saving?

Yeah, that's what I mean by sync, it's the steam cloud sync, i've tried it with it off and on
