Save suddenly very Laggy
My save was perfectly fine for a while with a very normal FPS. Haven’t played for a few days and when I got on last night the FPS was consistently between 5-15 and wouldn’t budge higher. Tried running around the world, despawning all the trash through the JSON and updating drivers however the game is still very laggy. I don’t have a lot of objects in my base, still near the beginning of the game. Any help would be appreciated.

mine just started doing the same thing. It also happened in the demo for me.
i have 26 hours in so far, i hope i dont have to start over
i believe it has something to do with the assignment of pots to the botanists.
try un-assigning all pots, then add one at a time until you notice a stutter in your fps.

The update broke everything it claimed to fix even worse. We just have to wait man it sucks
You can try putting
-force-d3d11

into the launch options for the game.
right click schedule 1 - properties - and then type that into the launch commands field
this might work for you

Didn't do anything for me, unfortunately.

Unfortunately not even this far into the game yet

This doesnt do anything in MOST games man..

The update broke performance today.
It might be your cleaner, try resetting him by picking up his trash cans and putting them back down. I think this has to do with them trying to path to an item that has gotten bugged out they cant get to.

Sometimes garbage from the botanist will get bugged and you need to pick up the pots and put them back down and pick up any floating bugged out garbage stuck in the floor.

Try to keep your plants in a spot the cleaner can get to all the garbage easier if you can and to avoid bugged out garbage in general.

Having it clean to start with will allow him to keep it clean so it has less chance of garbage piling up and bugging out.

It has to be a pathing problem. Whatever it is, it can be fixed manually by the player, by changing things about the assigning and destinations of things. However, this stuff was never happening before and I don't want anyone to think for a second that this wasn't caused by the update. These are things we shouldn't have to manage, but after all, it's early access so what do we really expect.

I cleared my trash.json, fired every single worker i have, picked up every single pot and bed, and my FPS went back to normal.

I saved my game and I'm just gonna redesign all of my stuff when the next update comes out. Overall, these kinds of issues are typical with games that have NPC workers that you manage. Palworld still breaks with one update and it's been out for 2 years.

I got this issue after two different saves merged between my desktop and Steam Deck. I tried a suggestion here for deleting my pots and drying racks, and beds, re-assigned all the staff and all is normal now.
turning off vsync fixed my issue

Same problem, don´t want to pick up every single piece of my things. I try waiting for a fix. I am near to late game......
