Soil tiers don't make sense.
currently there is no reason to buy any soil past the first tier as far as i can tell?
tier-1 = $10 = 1 grow
tier-2 = $30 = 2 grows
tier-3 = $60 = 3 grows
fertilizer, speed grow, and pgr don't carry over between growths.
so you're just paying way more for less, the only upside i can see is saving on storage? but you go through soil so quick you might as well just buy 1 grows ahead.

if fertilizer, etc stayed in the soil between grows i would pay the extra but currently its pointless. unless anybody knows something i don't?

The value u get is less time dumping soil into pots. Hiring someone negates this but yeah thats what i see.
It's worth it to me just because of just not having to run for soil all the time. Yes, it's more expensive but a big time saver. Also. less emptying the trash.
i use it for my botanists as it goes nicely with large rack 20x extra Extra Long-Life soil and 60x seed of your choice.

true the trash is annoying. but if you buy the soil pourer, and fill them that way, they dont generate trash. although i dont think that makes the soil pourers alone worth buying. i felt scammed after buying six soil pourers to find out they were not infinite like the water counterpart.

i haven't been using a lot of employees because they were so buggy but maybe with the new patches i'll have to give it a try. it does sound more useful for the npc's.
