I can't open console commands

I can't open console commands. I already activated the console command and already pressed the ~. How to fix this

Give it a try and hit any key. Start top left .. until bottom right. My keyboard layout isn't EN and I found the "~" shortcut, but it isn't the key with the "~" sign.

Am norwegian and for me it is (Ø) that opens Console For some wierd reason XD

i play it in english under linux but use a german keyboard. i must shift ^ or shift °

For spanish keyboards is ñ, atleast that worked for me
