Host has left game/Host has different version

I created 4 buds yesterday, and spent about an hour grinding to that point at least, and then I was "kicked" from the server even though the host never left. I then joined again, played for about 30 minutes to get the buds back (for some reason it reverted my inventory back to an hour before the grind, but kept everything else current), and then as soon as I had my 4 buds, it kicked me, and reverted my save again, but not the hosts (which caused a stack of jarred buds to reappear in my inventory rather than the buds, so I put them on the shelf until it reset me again)

Try setting your Steam client to keep this game updated automatically and ask your friends to do the same to make sure you're all on the same version? Tyler's been updating the game like crazy over the last week, so maybe one of you is auto-updating and the rest aren't.
