Unfortunately only one cauldron can be assigned to each chemist. This isn't the end of the world though. Set the chemist to work the cauldron, set the destination to the oven, set the chemist to work the oven, set the destination to a mixer, set the chemist to the mixer, then set the destination of that to a second mixer. If you do this with 3 chemist you can have 3 cauldrons, ovens, and mixers going making a 3 tier mixed product. This work around has been working for me after about a week in game time.
Hope this helps!
If you want a deeper dive on how to have a full production keep reading. I have 3 botanists working 8 pots of coca plants each. Every botanist's section of plants has a destination set to an individual cauldron. Then I set the cauldrons and ovens as listed above. Now with the mixer, set the destination to the next mixer, set that mixer to the final mixer, set that to a brick press or packaging station. Get a handler to set routes from a storage rack filled with the mix component to each mixer (3 routes, one for each mixer, all with different components), then one route set from baggies to a package station, and finally one route from Jars to a different package station. then you can set your handler to bricks, jars, or baggies depending on what your needs are. At the end of the day enjoy your packaged product ready to make you millions.
like ChumZChoice say chemist can operated 1 chauldron
so unassigne 1, save, load, and remove the chauldron
I've been trying to figure this one out for very long and I finaly did it.
4x Cauldron and 4 Oven. I set my coca base at harbor so room is needed. I have 2 cauldron on oposite side of the building and setting them up that there is 1 cauldron wide space between of them and then I put 2 other cauldron on the other side of the building, so 2x on the left side and 2 on right. Ovens I've put at the back. Set the route from plants to those cauldron and from the cauldron to oven, each one with their own oven. Now chemist route should be 1 cauldron from left side of the building, 1 from the right side of the building and 2 ovens, same for the second chemist, 1 cauldron from left and 1 from right. I was needed to do a save and restart when 1 got bugged but after that it was smooth operation.
I hope this will help out you guys, I don't like to use 1 chemist for 1 cauldron so I've been trying to get this work and I really hope that this helpped you guys :)
I run:
8 herbalist 1 garbo farm.
4 chemist 1 garbo bungalow (4 cauldron 4 oven)
4 chemist 3 handler 1 garbo dock warehouse (8 mixing stations [2 each], 4 cauldrons 4 ovens).
I basically just wake up, grab the coca from the farm, bring it to the bungalow, pick up the cocaine and bring that and the rest of the coca to the mixing docks, restock the docks from delivery vans, and that's that.
This way the npcs don't bug out.
