Schedule I
The automation part of the game could be done better
Everything is in the title. Automating anything in the game really suck, chemist cost a lot to do almost nothing, on the other hand handler do everything and can't have more than 5 routes.

You can fully automate almost everything once you learn all the ins and outs.

I have a fully automated weed Bungalow where all i do is send a delivery of bags to the house and they will unload the vehicle by themselves to the shelves for packaging and the only thing I need to do is keep the botanist supplied with seeds and soil and fert separately from when they need bags which i have 3 shelves fully stocked so i dont need to even touch anything for a looong time.

8 pots 1 botanist, 2 packagers/ hauler, 1 hauler, 1 cleaner

i just go to the house and there are shelves full of green crack for me to just grab and go, i just check there bag supply and if its low send em a delivery vehicle.

I have a warehouse with a fully automated setup of a full 8 MK2 mixers and they will fully grow and produce a fully mixed coke recipe and brick it for me. The only thing I have to do is keep the shelves stocked for each mixer and the farm since they wont haul from the delivery spots at the warehouse.

I even have janitors doing all the cleaning and places are spick and span.

Yeah, this just isn't possible for any length of time, at all.

The system is bugged and riddled with issues that require manual "unclogging", and that's even after you give enough space to eliminate the pathing issues. Handlers in particular when doing multiple mixes will require either punching or their entire routes resetting periodically even after a day or two of working fine, they'll also get confused by jars and give up on work entirely if they end up with an amount of product that isn't divisible by 5, which with weed in particular happens relatively often due to botanists having an 8 plant limit. They don't think to remove the weed or even to add more weed to it once they've given up and gone outside, you need to manually remove the weed from the packaging table before they will get back to work.

Automation currently is impossible for more than a day or two once you start mixing 3+ step products, something will break down and require you to fix.

I've also never once seen any employees unload a delivery vehicle, it's possible there is a setting I've missed with that one, but if there is it isn't obvious. Even if they could, the handlers 5 route limit and the 10 employee cap would mean it's not economical.

you are free to program your own game and pretend that you wont have any bugs. it is in Early Access for a reason.

You are aware that part of Early Access is for the developers to take in feedback from players right? People like you are part of the problem with Early Access making it so people don't want to leave feedback because apparently no one should say anything critical of an Early Access game and should always accept the game in it's current state. Yes, we know it's Early Access; your response isn't clever or insightful, it just makes you sound like a tool. It seems like you're the one here who doesn't understand what Early Access is about.
i feel like hired help could be better too. i hate how much "assigning" you have to do. like just let me assign shelves as "botanist output" or something so all botanists will just put your weed on those shelves instead of assigning 30 pots to different shelves. and by default they should find the closest soil and seeds and water can and clippers without having to own a shelf

i also think packagers are kinda dumb. why have waypoints at all? they should always just find the closest bags/jars and shelves should also be able to be toggled to "packager output" so all packers will just stock those shelves.

having to individually assign everything is just annoying.
Yeah I have no idea what the packager is doing.
I tell him to get from 4 shelves split between two packaging stations with bottles. The moron will grab stacks that aren't 20, and then act like his station is inoperable because 2 weed are there instead of 5. He won't even work at his second station when his first one is "broken" waiting for the botonists to make more. Meanwhile my botanists are going ham filling the other shelves, and this guy's just drooling. Also why does he need someone to add bottle to the shelves, that's insanely inconvenient, especially considering I swear I've watched him do 1 bottle at a time.

Bungalow supportrs 5 not 2
wait what? the bungalow is the house after the room upstair of the chinese restaurant or something right?

i can only put 1 employee in the restaurant, 2 in the house/bungalow, then 10 in the barn
even when i talk to the recruit guy it say maxed wtf, oh well EA game the game/save might be bugged

Without a ton of photos or a video its hard to show how everyone is set up but I dont even have my haulers at max routs I only use a few of reach

One will retrive bags from loading dock and take them to his work station supply and same with the other one, they have their own table and supplies and do their own thing seperately. The mixer at the house is only for me to experiment if I feel like.

I also have a seperate hauelr to just help take care of hauling bags to the stations so the other two can keep packing. And he also moves the materials for the botanist form the backup supply that I have to maintain with seeds and fert and soil.

They output the weed bags to the closest shelf between them then hauled by the other hauler to the other two shelves just inside the door where I just grab and go

Youi can select the loading area on the ground after selecting the haulers route, this doesnt work at the warehouse though.

Im just starting to get into Coke and here is a video basically of what I have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i3MCj7Qouu0

Has anyone had any luck trying to get this working with jars? Was hoping to run jars in my bungalow so could mass produce and bag up what I need for selling when Needed or unpack to make mixes on my own at the sweatshop but everytime I turn away my handler stops working because he gets an amount of product less than 5 on his table and instead of moving it he shuts down entirely

I mean he won't move it. Normally he'll stop and you'd just have to wait till someone moves more drugs to the packing station. If you have too much of a bottleneck you probably don't have enough production for your output.

If you do too much mixing it can slow production down but in the process get more money per product but also take up more time.

It's time/cost vs volume

This & as someone said, employees being busted and broken means I'm reluctant to progress.
I've got the first 2 money laundering locations and a roughly 7-9 thousand a night income (will hike my prices soon lol), so I can get the Barn soon - got the van first to move my sh*t easier eventually.

But like.
I'm not looking forward to it?
Things take too long on my own but hiring people might lose me product, and it's a hassle to get it all sorted out.
So this may be where I stop for a bit tbh.

Ah, that could be part of my issue too. I have him as my only handler so he's moving stuff to the pack station himself and even if there is more of what he's packing in the shelf instead of grabbing more to make it a full stack he just goes outside and waits for me to fix it. Will try adding a handler to move product for him and see if it fixes it

Looks like that fixed it. Another issue could be that i'm running all 4 weed seeds. Might be too small of a building or all 3 right now
