I'm extremely excited for a game for the first time in a good bit, and I'm an official Fan of the Dev.

We've seen it happen plenty of times with A - AA games. Indie games allow for more creative freedom. They don't follow corpo shareholders to make a quick buck. These devs actually care about their product. It also doesn't hurt that the "Crime Simulator" genre is getting more love, considering GTA is all people had. So yeah obligatory, we got a drug sim before GTA 6.

its a fun game, but lets be honest here. in about 2 months over half the player base will vanish. there are far too many games coming to actually have a commited fan-base. the game gets stale at end-game. and by the time the devs add new content the hype will be gone.
i have high hopes though and will gladly buy DLC to support them. this new gen of gaming is just so difficult to keep players. not anyones fault really.

I mean that's every game that isn't an MMO. This is a singleplayer/co-op game, it will never hold it's launch numbers, no singleplayer/co-op game does. The only important thing that needed to happen to secure this game and hopefully a new game franchise was a good successful launch, and boy did it get it and then some, so no doubt it'll evolve over time.

Give Tyler time he will fix it ! No other Dev has had 5 game patches in 1st week to my knowledge ? Been playing video games for 30 years . Have never seen a game dev more dedicated than Tyler is ! Tyler your nailing it buddy keep up the great work !

only part i disagree with is "no co-op game does" cause left 4 dead 2 still has over 25k concurrent players lol which is insane. but i was basically telling people yes the game is fun, but it's definitely not gonna have 100k concurrent in the next year. look what happened to palworld. they drop a lot after just 1 year.
