Lets hope he does have a passion for this game/development and doesn't just cash out and retire at a young age lol
i have high hopes though and will gladly buy DLC to support them. this new gen of gaming is just so difficult to keep players. not anyones fault really.
Well for sure lol Its early access. If I get even 2 months of enjoyment out of a $17 game, I'll be happy regardless. I've spent $40-$70 and have gotten a fraction of 2 months enjoyment out of them.
There's over 10 million possible combos of drug mixes. Plenty of players will stick around and play this regularly or on and off, definitely enough to keep it a top tier solo dev game for years to come. Will be hard to beat these records from other solo devs for sure.
i hope so, but just because you have 10 million combinations (probably more than that tbh) doesn't mean it's more content. it just adds the value to the drug. eventually you'll have to spend about 20mins mixing the drug to make it worth a lot of money if you're playing for a year straight. (if you experiment for 1 year irl you'll be mixing up to 20 items)
even you may get bored after 1 year. i play daily now, but once i hit $10 million and buy everything it'll be hard to continue. (I'm about to hit 1 mill now and been playing for about 5 days)
