It is definitely worth it, they make most the money for you while you have time to produce and organize
when you start moving big numbers you don't care about the 20% they take.
10000 - 20% is still 8000$.
Think like a kingpin, not a drug dealer.
I personally did this after hiring a botanist and he basically ran the Sweatshop, while I stuck with packaging it, followed by me offloading jars of weed to the dealers. I'd get ~4000 dollars a day from two dealers, and that's just giving them maybe 8-10 jars each. Eventually I'll hire a packager so the sweatshop is even more automated.
damn, in the sweatshop yeah? Well, looks like my grow ops is gonna be moved to that barn or the warehouse soon then lol. I'm already nearing that point where I need a packager.
Whatever works for you with your daily routines, running around in the game. I personally think the earlier you utilize/employ them, the better. It'll help your empire grow. The game really ramps up once you start making/selling meth, so you'll naturally want them working so you have as much free-time expanding your empire. For example have them deal with the regulars while you scout out new customers in new areas.
A bit late to the party, but yes. they are very useful. Although they take 20% of your profit, they save you a ton of time by doing the dealing for you. When you're just starting in the sweat shop, it may not seem that helpful yet, but once you get your to the bungalow you will be able to make more product then you can sell alone, not to mention you'll be busy either making the product yourself or getting supplies to your minions who make the product for you. Once you get to the end game, they are a must have. I have both the Barn and Warehouse running fully automated and I am making more product then even my 5 dealers can sell, and they are pulling in an easy 25k-30k a day. I will spend most of the time just keeping all the ingredients and dealers stocked up with supplies. In the little time I have left, I will deal a bit myself as well.
A small tip: You can give them jars instead of bags. This will not increase the money they make, but it will simply keep them stocked up longer so you don't have to restock them as often.
