Schedule 1 Multiplayer Fix

So we were stuck on "loading data," or "spawning player," and couldn't join each other.

2 Fixes:

1. Go into your %appdata% folder. Go into local low. Go into TVGS. Go into your saves. Find the save you want to edit. Go into the players folder. There should be multiple players, go into each and delete the variables folder.

2. Turn off your proxy. If you're using something like Tailscail Or Hamachi you won't be able to connect easily.

neither worked. theres something else going on with our save game file i think. have no issues with a different saved game.

How do i find the %appdata% folder, I've tried looking everywhere.

it worked but it didnt, buddy could join but he cant use the dealer app in the phone and old customers had to be given samples. works fine for me tho

well my friends and I literally had these issues and the fix was just having everyone close the game and reopen then it was fine. Was the same for ever person i've played with when they play for the first time in multiplayer.

that was the first thing we did but it didnt work

one fix that worked for me was removing the products folder in saved game. then started and it worked. then the next day it happened again and same fix didnt work. we just started a new game and used console commands to get stuff we had

This happened after me and a friend built a big setup at the barn and now it wont let him or anyone else join. Hopefully a fix is released soon.

so if you know ur way around the files in the save foulder u can delete only what is corrupted. i made a copy of my world changed it to save 3 and changed the actual name u gave the world in the Game.jason file, or else the game adds the files back when u launch but for me it was a mixing station my friend was using he knew it was that cause it crashed him when he used it so I searched for every file involving the mixer and deleted it and it worked.

The way we fixed this and the probable cause was : When the game closed, I was interacting with a bed and in "Ready to Sleep" state (I was AFK). The host joined and removed the bed in question , restarted the game and that seemed to have fixed it (3 of us could not join at all, we were all able to afterwards)

It is important to note that the %Appdata% folder you're talking about is located on your C drive under Users/(Username) and that it is a hidden folder, so you need to turn on reading hidden files and folders.

SECONDLY, if you have steam cloud enabled, the game will automatically redownload all player saves when you start up the game again after deleting files, so right click Schedule 1 on steam, go to properties, and disable steam cloud saves. Delete the character files for the friends who want to remake their character (host must be the one to do this) start the game up and let them rejoin to remake their character. Don't forget to renable steam cloud so it backs up your saves again!

idk id this helps anyone but i wasnt friends with one of the people i was trying to join and then we added each other and then i was able to join

Personally, I found a solution, I don't understand why it works, but oh well.
I tried everything that was said in this chat but nothing worked, I even changed computers to test and still the same problem
I was basically using Google's DNS, I deleted them but nothing had changed, so I had the idea of ​​disconnecting from my wifi to switch to a connection sharing with my phone in 5G and I was finally able to join the game by restarting the game.
