Game runs well now while crashing before every time
Especially regarding lowering the core ratio that was exactly what I did at first and it helped for some weeks/months but kept coming back until I ultimately RMA'd it and had no issues since.
It would make sense that this game is actually showing that your CPU has already been damaged because it is very CPU intensive for what it is.
I play games where way more is going on and they are nowhere near the CPU usage of this game.
So if you are on a 13th/14th gen intel, especially i9, you may want to think about using the extended warranty intel provided for these CPU's because of the damage the previous microcodes/bios versions may have already done.
Good luck.
