Does Console Commands Disable Achievements?

Need to use console command to fix the no clipboard for worker glitch to spawn one in, but im not sure if this will disable achievements.

Any insight will be appreciated.

I didnt see anything in recent patch notes, but I just used the 'give cash/bank balance' commands to see if it would pop the $1m and $10m net worth achievements and I did not get either of those achievements. It may depend on which commands you use.

I think this specifically is because net worth is based on the things you purchase in game and not how much cash you have on you.

I believe its based off of lifetime earnings and not actually your net worth. Theres a file named Money.json in the saved game directory and I remember looking at it to see that I had >$100k networth but did not get the achievement. My lifetimeearnings were below that though.

Thank you for pointing that out. I made a new save and edited the json file to have $10m in cash, bank and edited the lifetime earnings to $20m and still Bigwigs and Magnate achievements didn't pop. I don't think the achievement is bugged because 5.8% and 3.2% of players have those respective achievements so my guess editing the JSON files and/or enabling the console voids achievements. At least with regards to the networth ones.

You should try putting it just below the threshold and then earn some money in game to push you over. That might be the trigger.

I seem to find my net worth going up if I am building a supply of my products as well as when they are being sold. I don't think it is necessarily money in hand/bank but overall spent and made with product added in.

This is what it seems like is happening, I haven't looked into coding or anything.

To follow up, my buddy used the give manager clipboard console code and was able to get the achievement with dumping the trash in the burner thing so that one worked. As far as the other ones for net worth i haven't used those or attempted those codes/achievements

Achievements do work with mods, I used the simple mod menu to give myself 1 million. The achievement does not pop up right away you have to wait for the full in game cycle to be night to the point where cops will arrest you if you're on the streets and then you go to sleep, then you get the achievement. And also do the same thing with 10 million.

This is what it seems like is happening, I haven't looked into coding or anything.

I think it's cash and properties, since every time I restock supplies my net worth drops, so the more cash the higher the net worth.

I just went into my game files and set the net worth value just below $10M and made a little money and after i slept both achievements popped up.

I can attest to this. I used the console command to give myself 20,000,000,000 and then went to bed to start the next day. I got both BigWig & Magnate achievements immediately upon waking up from bed.
