Passive Income
It would be nice if the Money laundering businesses we buy could bring in Passive income. We could collect it from a drop box in the back rooms of the businesses. The amount doesn't have to be astronomical but maybe a little income. $1000 bucks a week.
Just a thought.

$1k a week is literally nothing once you buy either the barn or warehouse, you start making $7-$20k a day

Yes, I have lots of money too. But thought it could be a small addition.
I agree. I thought it would, and it makes sense. It's a business, it should make money. Like, you get back double what you launder, or something.
I want the game to be hardcore / harder to make you restart and keep the game challenging

Some want it easier, some want it harder. There is only 1 solution to that, difficulty options. Perhaps on harder difficulty equipment, ingredients cost more, drugs selling for less, customers harder to please or to get, more police patrols etc or police is faster so you can't outrun them (at least not for long) so you better hope there is a dumpster to hide in around the corner (or have a skateboard with you).

There definitely can be Game Play settings. I am always in favor of those. I don't want the game to be easier or Nightmare mode. But if you buy a business in real life, you make money. $500 to $1000 a week isn't going to make you a millionaire in game. But before you get the Warehouse and Barn, it could help in early game. I have the Warehouse and 2 dealers and make great money. But difficulty settings would be great. I never play a game on Easy mode or Nightmare mode. I like Normal or Hard modes.
Yea it doesn't make sense that the businesses make you no money at all. There should be some amount of clean income coming from each one on top of laundering your dirty money. It's how it would be in real life. Even if the clean money is secondary to the point of owning the business.
I honestly actually thought that they gave a passive income at first until I found out they didn't

Often times when someone runs a business specifically for money laundering, they don't actually want it to make money. What you do is you operate at a loss, or just break even, and then cook the books so it looks like you're making more than you are. That's how you launder money through it, after all, by hiding the cash in the profits of the business. And the less real profit you're making the more you can insert your dirty money.

I agree for multiplayer reasons, its easy for careless gambling to bankrupt you, a small amount each day from businesses will stop you from going completely bankrupt whilst you have fun online with your friends - which is the point of the game, not to take it seriously and only make money, spend it, gamble it, waste it all! lol - but thats the point, if you fully run out, its game over and you need to start a new save - a small income will prevent that from happening.

For singleplayer its obviously less of an issue.
