employee stealing items on racks

I've been having this issue where an employee would take every item in a rack. i've tried hitting them, talking, and restarting the game but it still continues. this happened before and i fired him and got a new one. but itll cost signing fee again

Just fire em, knock em out on their way out, drag em to the docks, Shoot em, chop em up and throw em into the ocean. In-game, of course. In real-life, the cleaners take care of some details...

I think this is feature, as i was looking at this page, I witnessed one of my handlers steal 20 viagra off one of my shelves and walk away like nothing happened.

I think this could be a feature because my botanist stole coca seeds and soil from the storage rack but not fertilizers. Meanwhile, handlers were stealing everything on the rack. Oh, it's absolutely a representation of real life. If you notice the sales and the numbers from your first dealer, they don't line up. He's taking more than his 20 percent or using some of the product. :)

I dont have an issue with the theft, I have an issue with the fact as a dealer, we have no security. I waste half my time punching employees because they're not doing anything. very frustrating

Yep, had my chemist stealing cocaine between mixers. Fired him and got a new one. Problem solved.

Had this bug, you can fix it by rehiring or going into your save folder, then opening Properties/<Property Name>/Employees/<Packager Name>/Inventory.json and removing the items from the employee. The file should look like:

    "Items": [ ]
}

Seems to be a bug where their inventories are full of a different ingredient(s) than the mixing station is expecting.

Nice catch .. for everyonme wondering where is the file. Its under C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule 1\Saves\<Your Steam ID>
