chemist will only mix it when the ingredients are in -- you need a handler to drop material into the machine

play around with clip board
Thank you

you can daisy chain for complicated mixes.

but how to prevent the handler bringing the same ingredient over and over?

make the formula in the storage he is grabbing from - im sure there are other ways but give it a go

you cant it is the issue with the handlers atm they are too dumb or the equipment needs to limit the type for each slot.

how do u do that?

You can configure a station with the notepad and set its output to another stations input.

The setup I’m using is 8 mixers 3 chemists and 3 handlers with 10 different storage racks

Each chemist will do 3 mixers
Each handler will also do 3 different packing stations(I just use one). They will also do 5 separate routes. So have one route bring the mixer u want from it’s specific storage rack to each specific mixer.
Hope that helps!

why 3 handlers, if they can handle 5 each?

3 handlers = 15 total exchanges

8 mixers = 8 rack -> mixer

that leaves 7.

without knowing how many products or what it is, if it's meth in jars/bags you need minimum 1 bag/jar -> packager, leaving 6. So it could be done with 2 handler as you point out.

The rest depends on what you're making.

for me with meth, I eat up 3 routes moving materials from racks to chem labs, which leaves 3 and requires an additional handler

I included them to restock my chemistry station with 3 products and my packing station with one product in(jars or baggies) them moving the finished product to another storage rack so all I have to do is grab the finished product off the shelf

you can do chem with 3 products in one route by putting all 3 on one shelf. Just be sure to never run out of 1 product (easy to do, just have same number of each product on shelves and in chem) or they will fill one of the slots with whatever.

you also don't need anything special to move finished product to a shelf, that's not a route, it's just the output of the packager which is handled by the handler automatically. you do need one for getting the jars/bags to the packager.
