How to fix Lag/Stuttering

So after a while your game starts to lag. The cause of this is all the trash in the world and how it is stored in the files. It just builds up because the "trash generators" don't know when to stop.

For this part it does not matter what drive your game is on it just puts this data in this location no matter what.
To remove the trash go to C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\LocalLow\TVGS\Schedule I\Saves\YOURSAVESUMBER\SaveGame_1\Trash

Click Trash.json and keep this part below and delete everything else. (For future reference change the game version.)

After this your game will still stutter for just a few minutes while it spawns some of the trash back in as you play but after 10 minutes or so the game will smooth itself out again.

OTHER FIXES
Turn off V sync and limit your fps to a normal amount
Run the game as an administrator

I thought the trash might be the cause of the lag.
Seems like an odd error for the dev to make, if even a complete layman like me can figure that out.

Try to disable Vsync in the settings and FPS to 60

Try this: If you have botanicers, dont use autowatering devise on the plants where botanicers are working. Hope this works for all of you, too. <3

I would like an option that removes city trash but keeps my trans in the game world. I made a nice little landfill of trashbacks in the swimming pool of the motel from all the meth I cooked. Having the cops go through my trash to charge with me with a crime would be a nice mechanic.

Strange it didn’t work, did you change the game version since there have been 2 updates since this post. Also if you are just late game and have a lot of stuff going on in the game this won’t do anything for that the game just needs further optimization.

From what I was told the dev is working on a way to differentiate between player trash and world trash.

I've tried it all. Uninstalled, different monitors, lower res/fps, v-sync off, running as admin, different game versions (Currently on beta) Trash.json method above didn't work either.
I have all properties 700k net worth.
Issue happened after I purchased 5 workers for the warehouse at one time. Went and assigned them their stations/jobs and then the stutters happened. Fired all workers and cleared the entire warehouse. Its empty. Still stutters.
Moving within the barn its whatever, but when maneuvering around the world either by walking, board or car. Its atrocious and extremely frustrating. Love the game but this makes it unplayable.

i have the same issue, i am completely clueless on what to do... i used the cleartrash command and deleted all the workers just like u, and the issue still appears, i am completely clueless on what to do :(

You know that if you enable the console in the settings and then type the command 'cleartrash' it has the same effect - ie dlete all trash everywhere... But I do agree trash spawningor respawning should be a game option. I love the trash in the beginning and hate it after a few hours of gameplay. For me you should have to cleanup a street once and then it remains clear...
