After a bit more tinkering I've found two things.
1, If you have any mixed product created and stored on shelves, in your inventory or stored in a vehicle, the product will also be deleted. So get it sold off before deleting the mix file.
2, If you have any of the mix files you're going to be deleting listed up for sale, de-list them, if you don't and a customer makes an order, the game will freeze, maybe because it's trying to run data for the client ordering something that no longer exists in the games files. De-listing the product prevents the game from freezing.
Dev, FIX IT please! XD
The red x is to tell the player "This product is not listed for sale." and turns into a green checkmark when you put it up for sale.
Sure, but the point of this is to keep the product list as small as possible so that if you're trying to get a customer to buy something else, you can easily find it instead of having to go through several dozen other mixes.
Easier to find the one you want when you're looking at a list that has like 10 mixes instead of 50+.
I didn't but you can re-enable it after playing for a while.
Though when I posted this on reddit someone said that even doing that, turning cloud saves back on still brought back all the unwanted mixes, I haven't tried myself to see if I could make it happen or if playing longer without it turned back on helps.
Oh thanks for that I thought I had forgotten something.
While you can rename mixes by editing the files, the in-game product will be deleted, it won't just be renamed.
Should probably (definitely) edit this into the original post.
