Want to remove unwanted mixes from your product list? Read this.
So I was browsing through my save file reading through the quest files and noticed the products folder, then the createdproducts folder inside that and it had a separate file for every mix I did on that save file.

So I thought I'd do a sort of experiment to see if deleting those files deleted the mixes in-game and it worked.

You have to turn off Steam cloud saving first, right click on Schedule 1 in the Steam launcher, click on properties and you'll see a button to turn off Steam cloud saving. If you try doing this with Steam cloud saving turned on, the save file will be reverted and the deleted mixes restored when you start the game up.

Next you need to access your appdata folder, you're better off googling how to do this, I created a shortcut to mine so I don't remember exactly how to access the folder.

Once you're in the appdata folder, the file path is locallow, TVGS, Schedule 1, Saves, you'll see a folder with a bunch of numbers, open that, then savegame1, or 2, whichever save file you want to do this for, products, createdproducts.

Now delete any mixes you don't want cluttering up your list, or just delete them all and only redo the mixes you want.

It's a slight hassle but it's something that works until deleting unwanted mixes becomes a feature.

Update.

After a bit more tinkering I've found two things.

1, If you have any mixed product created and stored on shelves, in your inventory or stored in a vehicle, the product will also be deleted. So get it sold off before deleting the mix file.

2, If you have any of the mix files you're going to be deleting listed up for sale, de-list them, if you don't and a customer makes an order, the game will freeze, maybe because it's trying to run data for the client ordering something that no longer exists in the games files. De-listing the product prevents the game from freezing.

The product Manager App has a literal Red X on the mixes in the bottom corner of each.
Dev, FIX IT please! XD

The red x is to tell the player "This product is not listed for sale." and turns into a green checkmark when you put it up for sale.

Or they could just add a favorites list for products.

Sure, but the point of this is to keep the product list as small as possible so that if you're trying to get a customer to buy something else, you can easily find it instead of having to go through several dozen other mixes.

Easier to find the one you want when you're looking at a list that has like 10 mixes instead of 50+.

If you click the star on the product it will be added to the top of the list in the favorite section, unless im reading your comment wrong
Do you re enable cloud saving after?

I didn't but you can re-enable it after playing for a while.

Though when I posted this on reddit someone said that even doing that, turning cloud saves back on still brought back all the unwanted mixes, I haven't tried myself to see if I could make it happen or if playing longer without it turned back on helps.
Don’t do this it broke my save now I have to start over

First rule of modifying game files, make a backup. You learned this lesson the hard way bud, sorry it happened to you.

Oh thanks for that I thought I had forgotten something.

While you can rename mixes by editing the files, the in-game product will be deleted, it won't just be renamed.

Should probably (definitely) edit this into the original post.
