what's the point of guns?

rival gangs? there isnt any.... i have played 10 hours or so maybe more and never ever got into combat once.

Theyre basically just a proof of concept until the devs implement rival gangs/cartels/etc
You can still use them to shoot cops and the tweakers that jump you though
